I am your quality in-town licensed child care provider, Sherry Lynn Engelbert. I am originally from Sterling, Illinois (which is 120 miles southwest of Chicago).  My husband, Jim, and I met in Chicago. He was born and raised in Beloit, Kansas.  We were married in 1987. He is employed with Wolf Creek in Burlington as a calibration technician.  We have lived in Ottawa since 1988 and have four grown children.  Prior to daycare, I worked in the business sector for over 10 years. I am thankful to have made this adjustment, both for my family and yours. I enjoy being at home providing quality time with children and an opportunity to share my enthusiasm with the community.  

I will do my best every day to take care of your child, give hugs, and help them to grow mentally, physically, and emotionally healthy adults. While I can never replace the special place a parent holds,  I work every day to provide each child with love, high-fives, and guided structure children need to be safe. I believe I am blessed to have the opportunity to take care of your most precious possessions, it has been my honor to serve this community for more than 26 years.
